Volunteer Portal

Your portal provides access to all of your JA-related activity:
  1. Contact information, which you can edit/update if required.
  2. Vetting – guidance on the application process to secure your NVB certificate.
  3. E-learning module - the first phase of your training. After working through the module you will be asked to confirm its completion.
  4. Code of Conduct – the terms and conditions of working in our schools. As part of our child protection policy ALL volunteers must review and accept the code of conduct BEFORE meeting their students.
  5. Programme materials - access to all programme content, including the volunteer guidebook and the audio-visual materials that you may show to students when you deliver the programme.
  6. Delivery log - where you will record your progress through the modules, including key milestones like start and completion dates. Recording your progress is critical to ensure your assigned teacher and JA staff members are in a position to support you through your JA volunteering experience.
  7. Information on the school that has requested the programme and the teacher’s contact details will become available after you have completed all pre-requirements.
  8. ‘Portal upload’ - where you will upload screen grabs or photos and testimonials on your experience to allow us to collate those data into the end-of-year company report.
  9. Link to volunteer’s survey to provide your feedback on your JA experience.
